Hello, I'm Michelle.

I’ve pretty much always been the person who plans the trip.

 

You know the one—the person researching hotels, comparing cruise itineraries, figuring out what we should do while we’re there, and making sure we aren’t missing something important? Yep. That’s me.

I’ve been planning trips for myself, family and friends for more than 20 years, so turning something I already loved doing into my career just made sense.

These days, I help my clients plan everything from ocean and river cruises, Alaska and Europe to all-inclusive vacations, Hawaii, group travel and trips that have a whole lot of moving pieces. And I actually like figuring out all those pieces. Flights, hotels, transfers, cruise cabins, excursions, timing… give me all the details.

But I also know most people don't want to spend hours comparing 14 different options and wondering which one is actually the best choice. That's where I come in.

​

I want to know how you like to travel. Are you the person who wants to see and do as much as possible? Do you want some downtime built in? Are you all about the food? Do you want a balcony where you can sit with your coffee in the morning? Are you traveling with a group where everyone seems to want something different?

 

Those little things matter because the “best” trip isn't necessarily the same for everyone.​

I Don't Just Book It. I Learn It.

I travel quite a bit myself, and I believe firsthand experience is an important part of being a good travel advisor. I've experienced different cruise lines, resorts and destinations throughout Alaska, Europe, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Mexico, Australia and the South Pacific. I've also led group travel and continue to host trips of my own. I don't need to tell you everywhere I've been. What matters is what I bring back from those trips.

 

I pay attention. I notice how the ships differ, which resort might be great for one traveler but completely wrong for another, how long it actually takes to get from a cruise port to the place everyone wants to see, and which experiences are worth spending a little extra money on. Because there are some things you just can't learn from a website or brochure.

And My Job Doesn't Stop Once You Book.

I keep an eye on your trip, watch for things like price changes and important deadlines, help with excursions and all those decisions that come up along the way, and answer the questions you suddenly think of at 9:00 at night. (Because there are always questions!) I’ll also tell you what I really think.

If one itinerary makes more sense than another, I'll explain why. If I think spending a little more on something is worth it, I'll tell you. And if I don't think it's worth the extra money, I'll tell you that too. I'm not interested in finding you just any cruise, resort or vacation. I want to help you find the one that fits the way you want to travel.

And if you're planning something more complicated—a cruise with a few days in Europe beforehand, an Alaska cruise with time on land, a family group coming from several different cities, or a vacation with multiple stops—that's where I really shine.

 

You don't need to know all the answers before you reach out. You don't need to have the perfect destination picked or know exactly what kind of trip you want.

Sometimes all we need is a starting point. We'll figure out the rest together.
